Location
Venue and time: Library, 6:00 pm
In this introductory session to artificial intelligence (AI), we will take inspiration from Refik Anadol’s spectacular artwork on view in the Museum to create something similar on a smaller scale.
Join this introduction to AI workshop organized in connection with the exhibition in situ: Refik Anadol, an immersive experience and tribute to the architecture of Frank Gehry and others, currently on view in gallery 208. LA-based Turkish artist Refik Anadol (b. 1985) is a leading international audiovisual creator and has used the most advanced AI technology to develop Living Architecture: Gehry, a piece created specifically for the Museum. Trained in 35 million ethically sourced images to create a series of exclusive, one-off visual sequences every day to awaken our senses, the IA model was based on a series of parameters configured by the artist. Would you like to find out how it works and have a go at designing something similar on a smaller scale using technologies available to everyone?
