Location

Venue and time: Library, 6:00 pm

Workshop for young audiences on the show in situ: Refik Anadol, inviting participants to reflect on artificial intelligence through an artwork conceived for the Museum’s gallery 208.

This exhibition offers an immersive experience in tribute to the architecture of Frank Gehry and other architects. What if the buildings of the future were not constructed from solid materials, but from data, emotions, or memories? What if architecture no longer had to obey the laws of the physical world? The LA-based Turkish artist Refik Anadol (b. 1985) is a leading international digital art creator and has used the most advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology when developing Living Architecture: Gehry, a piece created specifically for the Museum, trained using 32 million ethically sourced images that are the starting point to generate every day a series of exclusive, unrepeatable visual sequences based on the parameters configured by the artist.

In this introductory session, aimed at young people ages 18 to 35, we will explore how technologies such as AI and virtual reality can become tools for imagining new spaces, from architectures designed to inhabit the metaverse, to dreamlike landscapes typical of video games or responsive environments that react to our emotions. A workshop designed to provoke reflection, open to any young person interested in digital art, generative AI, or the future of the spaces we inhabit.
