Summer for Teens 2025. Image Without Rules
Admission
€88 Members / €110 General public
Location
Meeting point: Museum’s blue building
In these workshops, we will explore the art of storytelling through visual media, encouraging a creative and practical use of photography and art. We will work to develop a critical and reflective perspective on images through play, experimentation and investigating different ways of perceiving and reinterpreting reality.
We will look for imaginative ways to transform the visible, transcending what is captured at first glance with the intention of uncovering new possibilities. We will create, fold, tear and superimpose elements to expand the expressive potential of the image, combining techniques such as collage, intervention and experimental photography. Through these processes, each participant will be able to capture their unique vision of the world.
We will find inspiration in exhibitions by artists such as Barbara Kruger, Helen Frankenthaler and Refik Anadol, whose artworks defy the traditional norms of image and visual communication. From these references, we will collect materials and concepts to rethink compositions, fusing collage with photography and proposing new personal narratives.
Teamwork will be crucial in this adventure. We will encourage the exchange of ideas and the creative resolution of the challenges proposed, giving each participant the freedom to live and express their creativity without limits.
This workshop will be a space to play with images, break rules and find new ways to convey our meaning. Do you dare to see beyond the evident?
