Round Table: Dialogues Between Art and Science

In the context of the exhibition Quantum Visions, held at the Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary Culture, the Museum is organizing a round table discussion. Featuring Mónica Bello, exhibition organizer and responsible of the Arts at Cern program—a world-leading center at the intersection between art and science; Ricardo Díez Muiño, Director of the Donostia International Physics Center; and Abelardo Gil-Fournier, artist and physicist with a special interest in sustainability and artificial and quantum intelligence.

During the event, panelists will explain how the fundamentals of quantum physics, including indetermination, probability, and uncertainty, inspire innovative forms of expression and reflection in contemporary art. An activity organized as part of the Museum’s strategic partnership with the Department of Science, Universities, and Innovation of the Basque Government.
